Want to hit the road and head somewhere interesting? Then forget the regular Harties breakfast run, or riding out Parys way. Take a different route and wind your way to the Historic Motorcycle Museum in Deneysville.

Old bikers don’t fade away. They just settle down and create a haven for the next generation of two-wheelers. At least, that’s what renowned 1980’s sidecar racing duo John Boswell and Charmaine Munro have managed to do. Thanks to their vision, the Historic Motorcycle Museum is way more than the dusty collection of vintage bikes you might expect to find in some small outlying town.

Apart from the impressive (and it must be said, immaculate) museum, the property includes a 10-room inn with restaurant and bar set in the garden.

There’s also an intriguing vintage, by that I mean seriously antiquated, engine collection housed undercover next to the museum.
