  2. We accept machines where the whole appearance of the machine is correct for that period.
  3. It is not the intention to allow bitsas, and only under very special circumstances will this be concidered. This means an engine/box combination from a date after January 1976 being fitted into a period rolling chassis that never saw the light of day before 31st December 1975.
  4. More modern components are allowed in the interests of safety and reliability, but the spirit is as it looked and performed in 1975.

  5. The events will be in the form of demonstrations where participants will ride at their own comfortable pace in order to enjoy themselves and provide an interesting spectacle for the Public.

  11. All the above rules are subject to change by the committee depending upon circumstances or venue.

New members.

  1. If you have no machine when you joined, find out what is acceptable within our cut-off dates. Only the committee can assist you with this.
  2. First you must bring your machine and riding kit to a practise, usually at Midvaal because of its easy location to us all, before doing anything else.
  3. Trevor our ‘A’ grade MSA scrutineer who has in the past scrutineered and passed the World SuperBikes when they come here, will check your bike and riding kit over and give you a list, if needed, of things he wants corrected. His word is law as far as bike safety, riding kit etc is concerned and nobody including the committee or chairman can override his decision.
  4. Assuming the bike is rideable and Trevor allows you onto the track, you will ride with at least two committee members so we and you can get to know each other as to riding style, abilities etc.
  5. Once all the above has been complied with Terry Barson or such committee member who is instructed to issue a ‘racing number’ will then provide you with a unique number that must appear on the front and sides of the machine.
  6. You are then welcome to ride in any event and or practise we organise.
  7. At every event we take part in, Trevor will scrutineer your machine prior to going onto the track. No scrutineer sticker, no ride.
