Cut off date for a machine is December 1975. Providing the whole appearance of the machine is correct for that period. More modern components are allowed in the interests of safety and reliability, but the spirit is as it looked and performed in 1975.
Spoked wheels only –no cast wheels.
No slick tyres , but tyres are to be in good condition with at least 1mm of tread and will be scrutineered.
Any choice of carburetor.
Electronic ignition is acceptable.
Engines must have the external appearance for the period; you may do what you like to the internals.
Engines must be run on petrol only, of any octane.
General appearance i.e. bodywork, paintwork etc is intended to reflect the period.
Machines to be clean and well maintained / presented.
Supplied sponsors stickers will be affixed onto each machine without exception.
2. Scrutineering.
All machines will be inspected prior to any track event by an individual/s approved by the organisers and the committee. This scrutineering will include, but not be limited to the following points:
Oil drain plugs to be safety wired.
No visible oil leaks.
All engine breathers to vent into suitable containers.
Suitable locking of all fasteners.
No additives are permitted in water-cooled engines.
General machine preparation and condition.
Condition and suitability of tyres.
All machines that have passed scrutineering will be clearly identified as such by means of a stick on label.
No machines will be allowed onto the circuit that has not passed scrutineering.
It must be noted that the Scrutineer by virtue of him passing a machine to the best of his ability may not be held responsible for any mechanical failure whatsoever resulting in injury or otherwise to participants
3. Protective clothing.
Adequate protection is considered to be essential. The following requirements are the standard of the Group:

Crash helmets must be in good condition. Full face is mandatory and is required to have”D”ring fastening. Only helmets to SABS or equivalent specifications are acceptable.
Gloves of a suitable type are compulsory.
Full leathers are a requirement. They may be one piece or a combination of jacket and trousers. Under armour protection is recommended but not compulsory. When on the circuit all zips etc must be done up.
Leather boots with ankle protection are compulsory. Purpose designed motorcycle boots are recommended.
4. General rules.
Alcoholic drinks may only be consumed by riders / family / friends in places and at times allowed by the event organisers and or the committee. No alcoholic drinks may be consumed by any rider prior to an event irrespective of any such rules.
A high standard of behaviour on and off the track is expected. Complaints against any individual associated with the Group will be dealt with by the committee in an appropriate manner.
Any display or pit area is to be left at the end of an event in a clean and orderly condition.
Whilst striving to demonstrate eligible machines at a respectable pace, every care is to be taken by each rider to avoid any situation which could endanger themselves or others. Complaints against any individual/s will be dealt with by the committee. To this end, no official positions or lap times will be taken; neither will any trophies be awarded.
The events will be in the form of demonstrations where participants will ride at their own comfortable pace in order to enjoy themselves and provide an interesting spectacle for the Public.
Only the machine as it appears in the Membership list may take part in an event. Should a member wish to ride another machine it may only be by agreement of the management committee well before the event takes place.
Change of a machine during an event may only take place with the agreement of the Committee members present.
The number allocated on the members list must appear on the front plate of the machine no other number may be used.
All the above rules are subject to change by the committee depending upon circumstances or venue
